Pick a sign, then hold your phone sideways. The sign turns itself so it reads upright even if your rotation lock is on.

For a true full screen on iPhone: tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then open Signs from your home screen. Safari will not let a web page hide the address bar any other way.

Turn screen brightness all the way up.
Swipe up once on the sign to shrink the browser bars.
The screen is kept awake while a sign is showing.
Corner buttons flip the sign, change colors, or go full screen.

Full screen on iPhone

Safari does not allow a web page to go full screen on iPhone, only on iPad. Two ways to get the screen back:

1. Swipe up on the sign. Safari shrinks the address bar to a small pill and hides the bottom bar.

2. Install it. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Opening Signs from the home screen icon has no browser chrome at all.
